The Ravens have reportedly had their first free agency departure as Dre'Mont Jones will head to New England in free agency, per NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

It's a three-year, $39 million deal with a $13 million average, reported just minutes after the legal tampering opened for free agency across the NFL.

Jones, 29, came to Baltimore at the trade deadline last offseason and contributed 2.5 sacks and 32 pressures across nine games. Between the Tennessee Titans and Ravens, Jones posted a career-high seven sacks last season.

Jones liked it in Baltimore but knew after the season that he would have options in free agency. The Ravens' likelihood of re-signing him also decreased after the reported trade for defensive end Maxx Crosby.

The Ravens also have outside linebackers Tavius Robinson and Mike Green returning. Veteran Kyle Van Noy and David Ojabo, and defensive end Brent Urban, are all unrestricted free agents.

Jones' departure could set the Ravens up for a 2027 compensatory pick. Baltimore reportedly gave up a 2026 conditional fifth-round pick to get Jones and could recoup in the following year's draft.
