The San Francisco 49ers delivered a statement performance under the lights in Indianapolis, rolling past the Colts with a 4827 win on "Monday Night Football" in Week 16. The 49ers entered the contest havingalready clinched a playoff spot, following the Detroit Lions loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

Purdy Makes "MNF" History
QuarterbackBrock Purdyput together one of the best performances of his career, throwing a career-high five touchdown passes while completing 25-of-34 attempts for 295 yards. His five passing touchdowns tied the most in a single game in franchise history and made him the first quarterback in 49ers history to throw five touchdown passes on "Monday Night Football." Purdy accounted for scores in every quarter.
McCaffrey Reaches 1,000 (Again)
Running backChristian McCaffreyreached the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the season, finishing with 21 carries for 117 yards at 5.6 yards per carry. He added six receptions for 29 yards and two receiving touchdowns, bringing his season totals to 1,039 rushing yards and 849 receiving yards. With 1,800-plus scrimmage yards this year, McCaffrey became just the fifth player in NFL history to accomplish that feat in at least five different seasons.
Robinson Scores His First as a Niner
Wide receiverDemarcus Robinsonfound the end zone for the first time in a 49ers uniform, catching a 22-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter to tie the game. Robinson made the most of his targets and finished with two catches for 23 yards. The score came just one day after San Francisco officially clinched a playoff spot, keeping Robinson's streak alive of never missing the postseason in his NFL career.
Rookies Deliver in the Trenches
San Francisco's rookie defensive linemen made their presence felt on the biggest stage.C.J. Westrecorded his first career sack in the second quarter, dropping quarterback Philip Rivers for an eight-yard loss.Alfred Collinsfollowed in the fourth quarter with his first NFL sack, also forcing a fumble.
Winters Ices the Game
LinebackerDee Winterssealed the victory with a game-clinching play late in the fourth quarter. Winters intercepted Rivers' pass over the middle and returned it 74 yards for a touchdown. The pick-six put the game out of reach for the Colts and closed out the win.
The 49ers now turn their attention to the final stretch of the regular season, carrying momentum from a dominant primetime performance as playoff positioning remains on the line.
