Will McFadden
We're in the home stretch for fantasy football, and the month of November will help determine whether or not you'll have a shot at the title or will be doing your best to avoid the last-place punishment.
Throughout the season, I'll help you build the perfect lineup and become a league legend. Each week, I will recommend three starters at each position as well as two players available on most waiver wires who should shine in a pinch. I will also spotlight one Falcons player in each section.
It's not all too difficult to tell someone to start Bijan Robinson or Josh Allen on any given week, and I assume everyone reading this right now would already know to do so. Therefore, I'll try to focus these recommendations on players who might be on the starting or flex bubble.
Running backs to start in Week 11
Jaylen Warren vs. Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals have given up the most points to opposing running backs so far this season, and Warren gained 158 scrimmage yards against them in Week 7. Fire him up again for this one.
TreVeyon Henderson vs. New York Jets
With Rhamondre Stevenson sidelined, Henderson has made the most of his opportunity. His 147-yard, two-touchdown game last week is hopefully a sign of things to come for the rookie.
Aaron Jones Sr. vs. Chicago Bears
Since returning from injury, Jones has picked up a sizeable role in the Vikings' offense, especially as a pass catcher out of the backfield. That should continue against a Bears team he scored 14 fantasy points against in Week 1.
Waiver start Woody Marks at Tennessee Titans
Marks owned an 80% snap share in Week 10, and he turned in a strong performance in the Texans' win. Look for him to run that back this weekend in another division game.
Waiver start Sean Tucker at Buffalo Bills
Tucker's snap count has increased in the Bucs' last two games, and he's done enough to warrant more looks. The Bills are susceptible to opposing running backs, so this is a good dart throw if you need one.
Falcons spotlight Tyler Allgeier vs. Carolina Panthers
This is still Bijan Robinson's backfield, but Allgeier hasbegun to deliver standalone value. That's especially true in the red zone, where Allgeier has 20 carries to Robinson's 15 and, more importantly, five touchdowns to his one.
Wide receivers to start in Week 11
Jaylen Waddle vs. Washington Commanders
Since Tyreek Hill's injury, Waddle has become the true No. 1 receiver in an offense that has shown life recently. He's had three straight weeks with double-digit fantasy points, and gets a Commanders defense that has been burned by wideouts.
Stefon Diggs vs. New York Jets
He's riding a three-game touchdown streak, and the Jets no longer have their shutdown corner. Go ahead and fire up Diggs in this one.
DK Metcalf vs. Cincinnati Bengals
His last two games leave a lot to be desired, but the box score doesn't tell the whole story. He's just missed a couple of touchdowns and is still getting about seven targets a game. This is a plus matchup, and Metcalf should rebound.
Waiver start Tre Tucker vs. Dallas Cowboys
Tucker has pretty much boomed once and been just okay the rest of the year, but I think it's fair to say my first-ever fantasy credo is to bet on whoever is playing the Dallas Cowboys. With Jakobi Meyers gone, all the conditions are right for another eruption.
Waiver start Michael Wilson vs. San Francisco
With the recent news that Marvin Harrison Jr. will be out this weekend, and that Zay Jones is out for the year, Wilson leaps the depth chart.
Falcons spotlight Darnell Mooney vs. Carolina Panthers
Mooney had a 32% target share in Week 10, the exact same as Drake London. The looks are there, but the chemistry with Michael Penix Jr. hasn't been. That should change as they continue to work together, and with Jaycee Horn likely seeing a lot of London, Mooney should have opportunities.
Tight ends to start in Week 11
Oronde Gadsden at Jacksonville Jaguars
He's cooled off a bit in recent weeks, but Gadsden has another breakout opportunity ahead of him against a Jags defense allowing the second-most fantasy points to tight ends this season.
Dallas Goedert vs. Detroit Lions
Goedert has been alternating between big games and modest ones, and Sunday against the Lions is scheduled to be another big one for the Eagles' tight end. Detroit is decent against tight ends, but this one should feature a lot of offense.
Theo Johnson vs. Green Bay Packers
It remains to be seen how Jameis Winston impacts New York's offense, but he's proven to be a fantasy tide that lifts all boats in the past. Given the Giants' injuries, Johnson could see a lot of work.
Waiver start Cade Otton at Buffalo Bills
The Bills have not allowed much to tight ends this year, but no waiver option is going to be perfect. Otton is coming off his best game and has been trending upwards since Week 5.
Waiver start Pat Friermuth vs Cincinnati Bengals
Pittsburgh has three players involved at tight end, but the Bengals are the league's worst defense against the position, and Friermuth's best game of the year came against them in Week 7.
Falcons spotlight Kyle Pitts vs. Carolina Panthers
Pitts has been getting the volume to be effective on any one given week, but he's only got one touchdown on the season, which is preventing him from having truly standout weeks. In his career, Pitts has scored once against the Panthers.
Quarterbacks to start in Week 11
Joe Flacco at Pittsburgh Steelers
Coming off the bye week, Flacco is set to continue his solid recent play for the Bengals. He's got the Steelers on tap, who he had 26 fantasy points against in Week 7 good for a QB6 finish that week. A similar performance is likely.
Marcus Mariota at Miami Dolphins
The Commanders have been disappointing this year, but Mariota still provides value for fantasy purposes thanks to his rushing ability. The Dolphins are susceptible to running quarterbacks giving Mariota a higher floor here.
Aaron Rodgers vs. Cincinnati Bengals
He's not putting up insane numbers like we're used to seeing from Rodgers, but he's been steady week to week and has a great opportunity ahead of him against a Bengals defense he lit up earlier in the year.
Waiver start Jacoby Brissett vs. San Francisco
Brissett has finished no worse than the QB12 in any of his starts this season, and this is a plus matchup against a San Francisco defense giving up the 12th-most points to quarterbacks.
Waiver start Jameis Winston vs. Green Bay
Not the matchup you'd want in Winston's first start, but he has the ability to go off in fantasy on any given week.
Falcons spotlight Michael Penix Jr. vs. Carolina Panthers
Penix has the opportunity to redeem what is still the worst start of his professional career. He played very well against the Panthers at home in the 2024 season finale, so it's reasonable to expect he can at least fall between those two outcomes.
