Dane Brugler's midseason All-Rookie Team

With Week 9 now behind us, we have officially entered the second half of the 2025 campaign.

The Athletic's Dane Bruglerrecently released his updated midseason All-Rookie Team, which featured several Giants, starting with quarterback Jaxson Dart.

While Tennessee's Cam Ward was the top quarterback listed on The Athletic's quarter-season team, Dart overtook him for the top spot following a strong October that saw the Giants' QB get named theNFL Offensive Rookie of the Month.

"Despite having made three fewer starts than Ward, Dart has twice as many passing touchdowns (10) and half as many interceptions (three) as Ward (five and six, respectively) plus five rushing touchdowns (to Ward's zero)," wrote Brugler. "Dart also leads all rookie QBs in completion percentage (62.3), yards per attempt (6.7) and yards per completion (10.8)."

Next up is Abdul Carter, who was named the top rookie edge defender through the first half of the season.

"Carter is consistently affecting the backfield, as evidenced by his 32 pressures, which leads all rookies and ranks No. 1 on the Giants (three ahead of teammate Brian Burns)," Brugler wrote. "His pass-rush productivity percentage (6.7 percent), which includes hits and hurries along with sacks, is better than T.J. Watt's (6.3) or Maxx Crosby's (5.7)."

The third rookie featured on the list is Cam Skattebo, who was named the runner-up at the running back position despite suffering a season-ending injury in Week 8.

"Skattebo won't have a chance to build on his impressive start after suffering a season-ending ankle injury, but he deserves recognition," the draft analyst wrote. "Though his 51.3 rushing yards per game places him behind (Ashton) Jeanty, (Omarion) Hampton and (Quinshon) Judkins, he is tied with Judkins in yards per carry (4.1) and rushing touchdowns. And Skattebo leads all rookie backs in catches (24), receiving yards (207) and total first downs (38)."

The final Giants rookie to make the list was Darius Alexander, who was named as an honorable mention at the defensive tackle position.
