Smith Springs Recreation Area closes for winter season

ANTIOCH, Tenn. (Oct. 29, 2025) - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is closing Smith Springs Recreation Area at J. Percy Priest Lake starting Monday Nov. 3, 2025, through March 2, 2026, for maintenance during the winter season.

Visitors seeking nearby boating access can use Hamilton Creek Park, operated by Metro Parks, or Four Corners Resort and Marina, located southeast of Smith Springs Recreation Area.
