JACKSONVILLE - The '22 Jaguars are away from home early. A lot.

That's their story in December, too.

They'll also play two nationally-televised games, including one in prime time, and they have a significant midseason home stretch - with the NFL releasing the Jaguars' 2022 schedule along with the entire '22 league schedule Thursday at 8 p.m.

Among the highlights of the Jaguars' '22 schedule: a home game against the Denver Broncos at Wembley Stadium in London, England, on October 30 at 9:30 a.m., and a Thursday night prime-time game on Christmas Week against the New York Jets.

The Jets game could feature the first two selections in the 2021 NFL Draft - quarterbacks Trevor Lawrence of the Jaguars and Zach Wilson of the Jets. The Jets won the duo's first matchup at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., last season - and the teams will play there again on December 22 in 2022, a game that will stream on Prime Video.

That's the Jaguars' lone scheduled prime-time game in 2022.

The Jaguars open '22 with three of four games on the road - at the Washington Commanders on September 11, at the Los Angeles Chargers on September 25 and at the Philadelphia Eagles on October 2. The Eagles game will mark Jaguars Head Coach Doug Pederson's first game against the franchise he coached to a Super Bowl title following the 2017 season.

The Jaguars' lone September home game: the Indianapolis Colts on September 18. They have won seven consecutive home games against the Colts.

The Jaguars then have a stretch of five of seven games at home. They play host to the Houston Texans on October 9, then play the Colts in Indianapolis on October 16. They then have three consecutive home games: the New York Giants on October 23, the Broncos on October 30 and the Las Vegas Raiders on November 6. The game against the Broncos in Wembley is officially a Jaguars home game.

The Jaguars visit the Kansas City Chiefs on November 13, then have a Week 11 bye before playing host to the Baltimore Ravens on November 27 - Thanksgiving Weekend.

They then play four of their next five games - on the road: at the Detroit Lions on December 4, at the Tennessee Titans on December 11, at the Jets on December 22 and at the Texans on January 1. Their lone home game in December is against the Dallas Cowboys on December 18.

They play the Titans in the regular-season finale on January 7-8.

The Jaguars in 2022 will play four games each against teams from the NFC East (Dallas, Giants, Washington, Philadelphia) and AFC West (Kansas City, Chargers, Las Vegas, Denver) and six games against AFC South teams (Indianapolis, Tennessee, Houston). They also will play the 2021 last-place teams from the AFC East (Jets), AFC North (Baltimore) and NFC North (Detroit).

The schedule features four games against 2021 division champions (Kansas City, Dallas and two against Tennessee) and two more games against 2021 playoff teams (Philadelphia, Las Vegas). Nine of their 17 games are against teams that had winning records in 2021.
